Doing good, having fun

Want to create capes as a meaningful project when you have the time at home? Invite a few friends to get together for a craft day.

We’ll provide you with a WAWOS Wear sewing kit containing a pattern, clothing labels and hang tags to produce at least 5 capes.

You’ll supply the fabric, the velcro, the thread, and of course, the talent!

Are you an educator? Does your school have a fabric arts or crafting room with sewing machines and supplies?

Our “Sew for Service: Youth” program is a flexible 6-8 week curriculum that supports service learning and reinforces values of compassion, personal responsibility and inclusion.

  • Learn fabric arts/sewing skills and inspire creativity
  • Promote leadership, kindness and inclusion
  • Actively engage with the community and support a diversity of understanding through direct donation to a local pediatric rehab hospital, clinic or family
